Personally, I&#039;m enjoying watching the growth of internal micro-blogging. I know of several organizations who are using private twitter-like channels on their intranets to achieve point-of-need, community-based dialogue.</description>

		<description>So true!  I do believe that very few companies actually maintain full visibility of what&#039;s going out across depts, regions, divisions, etc., or have decent channels and processes in place to centralize it and cut down on clutter.

It&#039;s a difficult balance: communicators learn they must offer multiple channels as employees have different information preferences and will respond to different media. But this can create more work for the receive, as they try to process and prioritize what&#039;s coming through.</description>
